This gorgeous silver watch chain, originating from the 1900s, is a true testament to the craftsmanship of the era. Originally designed to clip a pocket watch to your jacket, it has since transformed into a versatile piece that can be worn as a bracelet (wrapped twice) or a necklace. However, please be aware that its length is relatively small compared to modern chains, so it might best suit those with smaller necks.

The chain features stunning filigree work, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail. It's thick and of high quality, with each of the 12 filigree Navette Artwork links exhibiting a unique design. These links are separated by trace chain segments, adding to the overall elegance of the piece.
In terms of condition, this antique chain is in excellent shape. While some light tarnish may remain, it's not noticeable when worn. The chain still retains its shine, and the various designs on each Navette link are clearly visible in the pictures.

Each Navette link also boasts a vermeil round center, which is a layer of 18K gold over silver. Over time, some of this vermeil has naturally worn away, which only adds to the piece's historical charm.
Additionally, the chain includes trace chain segments on both sides, allowing you to add more if you wish to lengthen it into a choker-style necklace. The dog clip clasp is fully functional, though it has a tiny hole on its inside border, which does not affect its performance or appearance.
