Stunning Victorian cameo set in 18k gold with eagle head hallmark. A woman's face is visible in profile on the forehead, hand-carved to perfection into a brown shell. The work of a skilled craftsman. The cameo is framed by beautiful chain link gold border. On the interior a hinged glass window can be used to store something precious, such as picture or special memory. The back of the locket has been dented, consistent with age and visible in photos, but the front remains in excellent antique condition.
