Black onyx and 18 k gold French Victorian mourning locket. Contains a lovely glass partition to protect a keepsake from a loved one. Closes very securely. Contains a gold cartridge for personalization or engraving on the front. Excellent condition with wear consistent with age. Some small teeth to the gold shield and microscratches to the onyx but nothing to take away from it's beauty. Only default is that the glass partition must be opened with something small, such as a pin and is hard to open once it is closed which explains the small teeth surrounding its frame. A very unique conversation piece. Closes perfectly.
