Unique Late Victorian chain with dog clip clasp and spring ring. Made of thick and high quality rose gold fill, which is a layer of 18k gold over brass or other base metal. Height unique segments in rose gold and copper held together by round links. Originally used to clip a pocket watch to your jacket, now makes a lovely bracelet (wrapped twice) or necklace. Please check the length as it is small compared to a modern chain. In good antique condition with some gold fill loss on the dog clip clasp giving it a copper color, some light tarnish inside the filigree parts not visible when worn. The chain links are in excellent condition, very shiny, with a lovely rose gold color.
