1900s Art Nouveau Virgin Mary Pendant with marcasite stones Unique Silver virgin Mary Medal French religious medal Gift for Her
Delicate silversmith art work in a unique oval shape, this French religious medal is one of a kind. From the 1900s, it is made of thick and high quality silver. In the interior of the pendant, the Virgin is visible in profile, delicately sculpted and facing right with a beautiful face that warms hearts. The virgin has a vail and is surrounded by delicate relief with a sun surrounding her head and light rays The reverse is smooth. What makes it unique is the frame surrounding the center all set with 36 marcasite stones, the bail is itself sculpted and hold a marcasite.
In very good antique condition, light tarnish and micro scratches, the surrounding of one marcasite has a little brown dot, nothing that impacts how stunning this historical medal is.
What more can we say than that's an outstanding medal, absolutely gorgeous to look at, and that will for sure follow you for a lifetime time.
Material: Silver and marcasites (unmarked silver reacted to acid test as silver)
