Beautiful Antique Victorian Napoleon III Earrings called dormeuses meaning sleepers typical of the XIX century.
The flower cut is engraved which reflects the light beautifully and the design is enhanced by the different layers of of the floral design. These special 1850's earrings are set in 18k rose Gold made of 4 layers enhancing the light and the way it looks from every angle when worn. The lever back closes at the top, another mark of the era.
The closure are in excellent condition and close very securely . A true statement piece in excellent Antique condition, some light tarnish still remain that can be removed with proper care, one of the earring has its center ball shape a bit dented whoch will not get noticed when worn. The earrings are absolutely gorgeous when worn and reflect like a mirror.
They are marked with a horse head which is proof of 18K Gold, and testifies of the period.
