Eye catching Antique French 1850's Antique Ring made of a big purple crystal on an 18K yellow Gold setting. The setting sides have a wonderful engraving.

The ring is centered by an approx 0.7 cm diameter radiating purple crystal that resembles a garnet that changes from dark to poping purple depending on the light. This ring is from the 1850s from the French Napoleon III period which corresponds with the victorian period. It is marked by an eagle head hallmark. The setting has a floral shape and is engraved in a luxurious way.
In excellent Antique condition the crystal can be changed by any jeweler to the stone of your choice or kept as it is for a perfect effect. The crystal has a minor micro impact that won't show when worn or needs extra focus to be seen. The ring has been polished an cleaned but some light tarnish that can be removed over time still persist inside the engraving enhancing the design.
